Say Something
It could mean anything
it could say
mountains
or
river
It could be some forgotten
cursive
rendering
of original thought
It could say
This way to the dead leaf
or
I am usually invisible
It could be a parody
of Alfred Hitchcock
It could be shedding its skin
or feeling life wiggle
inside herself
& stopping to savor that

The snake and the picture of the snake and the poem that goes with it, them, are beautiful.
I suppose the snake thought without a word, something like : OVER THERE.
What could the dried leaf think seeing approaching snake?
I admire the poem.
Fantastic poem and picture. I like best, "I am usually invisible."
